My pregnancy massage treatments are specifically designed for mums-to-be to guide you through the months ahead with less discomfort, a better sense of wellbeing and a healthier pregnancy.

You and your baby are in safe hands.

Eleonora has a wonderful massaging technique and at 28 weeks pregnant, she has been an amazing addition to my pregnancy! She has a warm caring temperament whilst maintaining professional standards and the massages she provides are nurturing and relaxing.

Qualifications

I am a fully qualified massage therapist, BTEC NVQ4. I hold a diploma in pregnancy massage, abdominal and full body, accredited by FHT, BABTAC and CThA. This gives me the skills and knowledge to safely massage your tummy as well as the rest of your body.

My qualifications and experience also allows me to treat ‘high risk’ pregnancy. Thanks to the relaxing benefits of massage often mums-to-be with high risk pregnancy are those that benefit the most from a treatment. (e.g fibroids, irritable uterus, gestational diabetes, pelvic girdle instability PGI/SPD etc.)

I learn and grow every day, always taking time to reflect on my practice. I participate in courses and workshops with Suzanne Yates of Well-Mother and author of many books on the topic of pregnancy and bodywork. I also attend study days on birth, breastfeeding and baby massage. I take the opportunity to meet and listen to some of the worlds leading experts on the topic.

As part of my commitment to fully supporting women during pregnancy and birth, in November 2011 I attended the Doula UK recognised training to become a Doula/child-birth companion. I am now in the recognition process, guided by a mentor. I assist clients pre, post-natally and during birth, as well as supporting many pregnant ladies in my work as a prenatal massage therapist.

Abdominal Massage During Pregnancy

Abdominal massage is unfortunately often neglected. However it is non-invasive and very enjoyable for you and your baby. Massaging this area may greatly decrease discomfort on the lower ribs and it releases pressure on the diaphragm, easing discomfort from heartburn and helping you breathe more easily. It also helps with strengthening the abdominal muscles and with fluid flow in this delicate area. Tummy massage is a lovely time for you to bond with your baby while you both relax.

Eleonora has healing hands. I wait all week for my massage, to know I will have about an hour of complete serenity and calm, with every ache and worry gently soothed away. It is very clear Eleonora cares for you and your little baby inside. I’m about to buy my second massage package and delighted to be paying for something that’s totally worth the money. Living in London and doing a daily 4 hour round commute means this is a rare feeling to have!

Regular massage will help your body and mind to cope with all the changes one step at the time, so you can enjoy your pregnancy without discomfort.

When booking, allow a couple of days before your treatment to avoid disappointment.

Note

Please note, that massage during pregnancy is not intended to replace your doctor or midwife’s care, but to support your journey physically and emotionally, working in collaboration with you and them.

Also, be aware that body massage is best introduced after the first trimester only if you are not familiar with receiving massage. However, it is very safe to support your health from the first day of pregnancy until after birth. It is very beneficial and you may not want to wait your second trimester if you are already familiar with massage.

I am looking forward to speaking with you,
Eleonora
